It's too bad everything moves so slowly through the government. Renegotiating even one of the terms for the DOE loan will take months!

I am driving one now and considering the car, but scared. The engine light was on when I got it and I had to reset it. Then it did it again where the car would not go in gear and the engine light was on. The turbo rattles so loud you cannot have a conversation. I love the car but I am VERY concerned about making a BIG mistake! I have not paid for it yet so I have the upper hand as of now! What is the outcome of your situation and what state are you in?

we love our Karma too! Not quite at 1k miles, but this car is a keeper. The media and the politicians don't sell cars, I keep my dealer's cards in my car I get so many questions. Who knew being eco friendly could feel so good

Love our Karma!!!!! Seems the media and some politicians don't want electric vehicles to succeed-I guess they want us to keep the oil companies comfy. 2400 miles and we've put 10 gallons of gas in our beautiful inferno Karma The battery pack changeout and software update have been perfect! Tha dealership was very accomodating and made the process easy. Keep up the good work. My friend and his wife just bought their Karma today here in Orlando on our recommendation! I have a Karma and, after the "software upgrade", continue to experience quality issues. I got in my car today and it would not engage in drive or reverse. Had to run the mile to my appointment from my prior stop. Got back and it worked. Crazy to have a car you can't rely on. The Fisker gang should stop spewing "quality commitment" speak and FIX THE CAR!!!@

less than two amps of power, that is a completely meaningless statement without providing the operating voltage as well.

I just picked up my karma 2 days ago....i've owned many cars over the years, this car is a true driver's car, i absolutely love the car so far. Henrik, thank you for being bold and building a car that breaks the mold. Is buying a Fisker a risk? Of course it is, but so was buying an apple pc many years ago. Life is about risks and based upon the car they have created, it was a bet i was willing to take.

Saw the car at Monaco this weekend. Raised a few laughs when CEO almost backed into the bollards whilst taking someone for a test drive. Looked good though.

"the Karma is within $500 of its originally announced MSRP of $87,900"....so what?!?! The original MSRP also would have qualified for the $7,500 discount. $8,000 is $8,000. Don't try to toy with the numbers. And while it's marginally cheaper than a Panamera, it's $15+k more than an S6, which is a faster car, with just as much luxury. Sure, the S6 isn't an EREV, but neither is a Panamera...

I'm speculating too but it's possible that it's virtually as the production cars will be and they are just calling it prototype since it's not yet launch date. similarly the Chevy Volts driving around are also basically production cars identical to those we'll see in late 2010
